It was yet another day, the sun shined brightly outside... "Hey, why don’t we get Pinstripe and everyone else to come over so we can go surfing or something?" Crunch asked Tani, "Well... I'm planning to go somewhere... though" Tani said "Where...?” "Well, you know my species, the Thylacine. I want to see if they really do still exist... I don’t believe they can be extinct, just look at Tiny and me? How did we get here then?" Tani asked Crunch "Well, I also don’t think your race is gone... the pathetic humans think they know everything about us, but they don’t...But I have to say, I don't even know much about my kind... I remember Brio told me they weren't even found by humans at all, besides Cortex and his team of course!" Crunch told Tani "Yeah, your right! But I just wanna go and see, if they are still around...” Tani said, "Yeah, we'll borrow Pinstripes car to get to Tasmania, I don’t want to bump into any humans though, for obvious reasons..." "Crunch, I need to go on my own..." Tani replied, "Your own… but why?" Crunch asked, "Because, I will get distracted... if you know what I mean, it doesn't mean I don’t want you to come! Anyway... someone has to guard the house, Ripper roo or some bad guy will destroy it if no ones here!" Tani told Crunch "Yeah your right, I better stay here... but Tani, I don’t really want to get separated again... to be honest" Crunch told Tani "Hey come on, I won’t be gone for five years! Just a few days, we can keep in contact with the cell phones that Pinstripe gave us anyway, well I better ring Pinstripe up so I can ask to borrow his car..." Tani told Crunch, Crunch was sort of worried.

An hour latter, Pinstripe, and the rest of the gang arrived at Tani’s home, Tani was given permission to use Pinstripes flying car "Good luck cuz! Please try not to get a scratch on it!" Pinstripe told Tani "Hey, don’t worry man! It’ll be ok! I'll ring up once a day ok? And if I get into any sort of trouble, I'll ring" Tani told everyone... Crunch approached her, “I hope you find out what you need, Tani…” he told her “Hey I will! Even just seeing one would be enough!” Tani then hugged Crunch, “I won’t be gone for long… take care of our home!” she then hopped into the car and it started floating higher "Be careful Tani!" Crunch said "Don’t worry about me Crunch... just look after the house, good bye everyone!" Tani said, she then took off in the car into the skies...

"I hope she finds what she wants to see..." Tiffany said, "I bet she will, she’s one tough chick to go on her own you know, even if she’s the most antisocial of the girls!" Blaze said and laughed slightly, and Crunch was slightly saddened, Siegdog walked over to Crunch "Hey cuz bro! What’s wrong? Yah lady has gone? Only for a little while!" Siegdog told Crunch "Shut it Siegdog, it’s not funny... and she isn't my lady, she’s my friend! You don’t have any friends so you don’t know jack about us!" Crunch told Siegdog, Siegdog’s ears flopped down and he turned, "I guess your right... But, I do have ONE friend... the SIEG!!! Without it, I don’t know what I'll do... no more Siegs, It'll be so emotional without it, I would brake down and cry without it!" Siegdog cried, then he started doing his usual Sieg poses, Crunch rolled his eyes as he usually does when he encounters stupidity, and he just simply walked away from him.

"So guys, what shall we do?" Blaze asked, "Hmm, didn’t Crunch say we should have a barbeque or something? And go surfing?" Pinstripe said "No, that was Tani's idea..." Crunch told Pinstripe "Well, it’s a freakishly hot day today... so lets do it!" Blaze said, the potoroos set up everything, and Crunch sat on the sand looking into the sky "Hey Crunch, can you help me with the barbeque? I don’t think I can carry it all the way from Kong’s house..." Blaze asked Crunch, "Kong only lives in that wooden shack behind the trees over there, it’s not that far..." Crunch told Blaze "Come on Crunch! The barbeque is bloody heavy! I'm too scared to ask Tiny to get it..." Blaze said nervously, Crunch got up "Ok, I'll get it." Crunch replied, he got up and walked towards Kong’s shack “Weakling…” he said quietly.

Crunch looked around Kong’s house, he went into the lounge, he saw Tiny and Kong playing 'Paper scissors rock' "Man, you guys really do get along..." Crunch said. Kong looked at Crunch "Hey Crunch! What are yah doing here, yah?" Kong asked "I’m just going to borrow the barbeque, I have some friends over who want to use it" Crunch said, "yah ok go ahead!" Kong replied, and Crunch went out the back and grabbed hold of it and ran off, Tiny watched as Crunch left the shack… his ears folded back and he growled, "HE'S STEALING TINYS FOOD FRIEND COOKER!!!" He roared! "No no NO! Tiny, he isn’t stealing it he's BORROWING IT!" Kong told Tiny, but Kong’s words seemed to have gone through one of Tinys ears and out the other... and Tiny tried to get Crunch, Kong held him back as much as he could!

Moments latter, Crunch arrived back to the potoroos with the barbeque "Here it is, I’m not taking it back ether!" Crunch said, he walked away and sat back down on the sand metres away from the gang, "Man, what’s wrong with him?" Blaze asked "Hmm. I don't know, maybe it’s because Tani’s not here..." Tiffany said "DUH! Without my love... the Sieg, I would get angry too...*sniff*" Siegdog said emotionally, Crunch then thought to himself "Maybe I should ring up Tani..." and looked over at the potoroos "Hey, Pinstripe come here for a second" Crunch asked, Pinstripe then came over to Crunch "What do you want cuz?" He asked, "Can you ring Tani up? I... just wanna see how she’s doing..." Crunch asked "Jeezers! She only just left like... 2 hours ago!" Pinstripe said, "I know but, I just want to check up ok?" Crunch asked "Oh! Ok, heh heh... I wonder what I would be like if Tiffany left me for a few days..." Pinstripe said, Crunch looked at Pinstripe in an angry sort of way "What? Hey, you know me and Tani aren’t, you know... together in that sort of way" Crunch told Pinstripe "Heh, WHAT EVER!" Pinstripe said, as he laughed "This isn’t a laughing matter... so can you just shut up and ring her now?" Crunch growled at Pinstripe, and Pinstripe went silent... he realized Crunch wasn’t fooling around at all. "Ok ok OK man! Sheesh! I'll ring her now! Easy man easy" Pinstripe said, he quickly dialled Tani's number and gave the phone over the Crunch, Crunch grabbed the phone and waited for Tani to answer...
